My Journey Through Grief, Trauma, and Total Burnout

I’m Leslie, and I’ve walked the very road you may be standing on. 

Sixteen years ago, I lost my father to an illness doctors couldn’t explain. That grief cracked me open..and just as I was finding my footing as a new mother. I was involved in a devastating car accident that left me with stage 3 adrenal fatigue and a body that could barely function. I was holding everything together on the outside, but inside, I was crumbling. 

How I Healed, And Why I Know You Can Too

My healing journey began with meditation. Barely a month after my father passed, I was drowning in grief with a 6-month-old and a 2 1/2 year old. I found myself in a how-to meditate class. This studio became one of my sanctuaries for nearly two decades, where I practiced yoga, meditated, and learned about myself. There was still much to do, as I remained quite ill. I dove deeply into nutrition, herbal medicine, aromatherapy, and mind-body balance. I learned the power of intentional self-care. 

I became a lifelong student. Today I hold:

-A degree in Complementary and Alternative Medicine
-A diploma in Advanced Aromatic Medicine
-A diploma in Aromatherapy

I hold over 2,000 hours of education in nutrition, herbalism, and mind-body healing. I am also a published author and professional copywriter for a leading whole food-based health and wellness company.

This isn’t a hobby. This is my calling, and my full-time work.

Lifeholistically is a space created specifically for women nearing burnout or trying to rebuild after it. Through calming herbs, restorative rituals,  discovering where you need to reframe limited beliefs, and creating lasting mindset shifts, I guide women back to wholeness, one intentional step at a time.
