The modern wellness industry taught women to survive the damage instead of questioning the system causing it.

We were handed caffeine for exhaustion.
Wine for nervous system overload.
Supplements for depletion.
Protein bars made of chemicals.
“Self-care” sold in plastic packaging while women are running on cortisol and fumes.

And before anyone gets defensive, yes, there is a place for medicine. There is a place for support. There is a place for supplementation.

But we should still be asking harder questions.

Why are so many women exhausted before 10 AM?
Why is anxiety normalized?
Why are hormone issues exploding?
Why does the food industry profit from ultra-processed convenience while the pharmaceutical industry profits from the fallout?

A dysregulated society is an incredibly profitable society.

The answer was never supposed to be “cope harder.”

It was supposed to be:
What is creating the dysfunction in the first place?

Food.
Stress.
Environmental overload.
Nervous system exhaustion.
Disconnection from rhythm, rest, sunlight, movement, and real nourishment.

That conversation makes people uncomfortable.
Good. It should.

For many women, rest removes the distractions that kept the nervous system feeling in control. When that happens, the body brings unfinished signals to the surface. Thoughts speed up. Tension appears. Discomfort follows.

This doesn’t mean you’re bad at resting.
